How do I automatically alphabetize email folders in Apple Mail?

This seems like such a no-brainer, others have inquired about it for years, and I'm hard-pressed to believe Apple has not addressed: In iCloud and local storage, adding a new email folder causes it to be listed last among the existing folders in that mailbox or account. Is there any way to have the folders automatically sorted (as the program allows for individual emails) alphabetically?
