iMac desktop screen getting dark on left side

my 27" iMac desktop started getting dark on the left side of the screen. Any solutions to a fix?

iMac, iOS 9.2.1

Unless you're skilled at working inside an iMac make an appointment and take it to your nearest Apple Store genius bar or AASP for a diagnostic and estimate.

Yes, from the little I've read online here and there, this seems to be a common issue.

Something to do with internal parts (LED Backlight Inverter Board maybe?) and I think it just needs to be replaced.

A quick eBay search suggests it shouldn't be very expensive.

But not 100% sure.

Really stinks though! Good luck!
