I will be using a Keynote presentation at a school where there is little connectivity. Wonder if putting the presentation on iCloud would help me. Regardless, I don't have iCloud driver on my Finder window, but I do have it enabled everywhere else I believe it needs to be.

If it's on the iCloud drive it is already in the finder, it will play regardless of connection state.
I'm sorry. But I don't see iCloud Drive in my finder like I do google drive. When I go to my keynote app on my phone, there's nothing under iCloud
Have you turned visibility of the drive (in the sidebar) on?
And you don't need iCloud for what you want to do, anywhere on your Mac will work, not just the the iCloud drive.
That's what I figured I need, but I don't know how to turn it on.
Open a finder window, then (on the finder menu) locate Preferences and cruise over to SideBar, then check the box labelled iCloud Drive
And you can put it any where on the Mac you want to, I don't advise using iCloud drive for this when a local drive would be simpler and better.
Got the iCloud. Thanks. What do you mean about not using it when a regular drive would work? So here's my problem. Usually i use my iPhone as a remote for keynote. I put both mac and i phone on same network. There are some schools that on purpose deny connectivity in the school. They won't let me in the school website, so I'm trying to see if putting the keynote on my phone would do something different. Not sure it would. Thanks for your help.
