I did my Time Machine back up but only transferred Applications to my new computer but need to be able to find the data on my back up drive. How do I find the email folders under "My Mac" on the back up drive?
What version of OS X are you running, and on which Mac?
I was 10.11.1 El Capitan but have now upgraded to 10.11.3
Was on chat with Apple last night and told I can't just retrieve my "On My Mac" email folders from my back-up. And of course when I went to Genius Bar yesterday the "expert" told me I would be able to do just that!!!
Frustrating!
I didn't want bog my new system down with all the data from my old system but wanted to be able to access it when needed. So now I will figure out a different method.
