iphone 5 screen

When i surfing in an apps, and i pressed the notification bar from the assestive touch my whole screen have stopped there and i cant go back the home page until i pressed the power button and the home button only then it will works fine. After this, if i pressed again the same thing it would happen again. any ways to solve this?

It looks like your iPhone screen is going blank or is unresponsive when you use a certain function, and you have to restart the device. You can use the steps in the following article to Get help with the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
