How do I format my brother's ipod?
My brother gave me his ipod touch 5 last week before he left town and I've been trying to format it but have no success. I have to login in but I have no clue

Put it into DFU mode (follow these instructions: https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki/DFU_Mode)
Then plug it into iTunes. iTunes will detect an iPod in recovery mode. Choose restore.
