Why my iPhone drained so fast even it is i th standby mode?

Hi,

This is regarding about my iPhone's battery. Before I went to sleep lastnight it has 100% battery percentage and wheN I woke up this morning the battery has only 80%. I am wondering why my battery drained so fast that it was in the standby mode. One more thing is that the standby mode and usage time is almost the same. My phone is just new. I just bought it lastweeek but this never happened for the past few days it's just today.

*Lastnight I was using snapchat, instagram, facebook and facebook messenger. It went below 20% so I charged it. And I haven't used it after it was fully charged.

iPhone 6s 64gb

ios 9.2.1

Check Settings > Battery and scroll down to understand what app(s) are using your battery.

Simply placing your iPhone in standby mode does not necessarily mean your battery is not being consumed, perhaps rapidly. Some apps, notably WhatsApp, Snapchat and Facebook Messenger, are very busy while you sleep.

These ar ethe apps that are using my battery. Also the usage and stadby mode time is showing the same time. What are the ways to fix this. I'm new to iPhone products , hope you could help me.

Well, I guess the top screen shot speaks for itself. It looks like you've been spending quite a bit of time and effort in the App Store - perhaps browsing, perhaps downloading.

Also note several of your high-use apps show quite a bit of background time. Again, this confirms that while you are sleeping, your iPhone is quite active.

Personally, I power my iPhone off when I go to sleep. But that is purely your personal decision to make.
