Loose Screen on MBA 11.6"

Back in August of 2015 I bought a new Mac Book Air 11.6" The screen was super loose, but i thought maybe that was just how the computer was because it was so thin. I played with my mother's MBA when I was visiting her a realized that it was supposed to be much tighter, so I took it in and explained to them that it had been like that since I bought it, they of course did not believe me and tried hard to scold me for just about any reason they could think of for the screen to be loose. I then got my computer back and the screen had been tightened a little bit, but not very much. After getting it home I discovered my trackpad and keyboard no longer worked, so I had to take it back and have it sent off to find out that the tech who worked on it broke a few cables when he opened up my computer (But they didn't take responsibility for that either. When I got it back my screen was just as bad as it had started out. So my question is has anyone had this successfully fixed by Apple? My closest Apple Store is two hours away now, and I would really like to know if it's even worth the drive. I dropped a lot of money on this computer and I am super frustrated that even though it was like this when I got it Apple keeps blaming me and not fixing the problem.
