How to change the name of creator in Final Cut Pro X?

no surprise - Tom is correct:

You have to change the creator for each Project … 😟

But at last, you can do straight in the Share dialogue… where you edit any other tag. Would be interesting, which app can read those 'metas', QuicktimeX doesn't, mediaHUD doesn't. MetaZ doesn't, FCPX itself doesn't… …

select your project in the Event Browser

open the Inspector/Share

under Creator, there's a 'bubble' listing 'user'; erase and replace by any name you want....

did I mention Share...? No ;)

try the first line in my first post ..........

the Creator is a Project Setting, no export option ...

First select a Project icon in the Browser.

Then the Inspector will show something like this:

The default name is that of the current user. I don't think that's changeable as it's taken from the OS.

If you upload a vid to youtube or vimeo, can anyone see the Creator name? What impact does the creator name have and or who can see it when you post vids?
