Hi. I'm using my sister's iPad but can't upload any app as she has forgotten the email and password she has used. Could you help me please. I'm not even sure of the iPad model but in the General Settings, it says it's version is 8.4.1 (12H321). Thanks.
If your sister is the original owner and has proof of purchase showing serial number from Apple or Apple
authorized iPad reseller, she can take that proof and the iPad to the nearest Apple store
where they may assist her.
My sister lives in the States and she just left her iPad with us when she visited us here in the Philippines. She hasn't been using iPad for a long time as that's an old model. She has thrown the box and the receipts and she doesn't remember her password. Is there another possible solution? Thanks.
Have your sister recover her password using the link provided in the post you responded
to above and duplicated below.
If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
If iPad was purchased using her AppleID, Apple can find a record of the transaction.
If iPad purchased using debit card, credit card or check, the financial institution issuing
the card/check can find the transaction.
If your sister cannot recover her password or find proof of original purchase, the iPad will
remain useless. There is no work around for Activation Lock.
