MacBook Pro black screen
MacBook Pro black screen already tried the suggestions I see here.
shift-option-control-power
comman-option-p-r, power
Not sure if I am doing it all right, but it makes the startup sound and stays black.

OK I did the SMC and the NVRAM.
Still black as night.
Not able to maneuver with the screen black to do the safe mode.
What now?
Does the Power light light?
Do you hear chime?
Hear fans?
Yes it seems to start up.
Hear the chime and when resetting NVRAM I hear the second chime.
Hear slight fan sound.
Only keyboard response in the caps lock key lights up.
Can you connect an external monitor?
Also, look closely at the screen with a flashlight or similar light source and see if y can see anything. Maybe the backlight does not work.
