Uploading files and pictures to iCloud is frozen - Message in Finder: "uploading 533581 items (118.11GB of 711.95GB)" but it's not moving for days now! Any ideas?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
I suspect you might get better results if you uploaded your files in batches.
Try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing. Wait a couple of minutes, then recheck syncing.
Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?

when i do that,it warns me that files will be deleted from iCloud... is this an issue or will the files be reloaded to iCloud. it also gives out a warning / option about files getting deleted from iMac. i have not tried this before, no.
They should reload when you sign back in because the files are retained in iCloud.
