what is "other" in my ipad 3 memory usage?

I keep getting a full tank on my ipad3, dont know what "other" is on the usage readings..?

""Other" is data that does not fit into any of the media or documents categories. Safari History, bookmarks, reading list, contacts, text messages, email messages, notes, etc. When you see as much "other" as you are seeing, that usually indicates something has gone corrupt on your device. Sometimes restoring from a backup cures it. In some extreme cases it may require a factory restore without using a backup.
