my instructions for my ipad are in spanish i need to change this to english

My ipad was a present from a friend. Whilst everything is working fine I think the ipad was registered in Spain or some Spanish speaking country and therefore all the security questions I have to answer are in Spanish which I don't speak. How can I change this please?
