Q: iPhoto library does not show up in iMovie

Hi.

I am trying to make a movie using contents in my iPhoto library (photos + video)

iPhoto does not show up un the left library panel and when i try to import, the iPhoto library is grayed out and i cannot select.

thoughts?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

I understand that you are seeing some issues with your ability to connect to your iPhoto library from iMovie. You may want to treat this as an iPhoto library issue and troubleshoot with that in mind, using the steps in the following article to perform repairs on your iPhoto library:
