both my ipad and iphone show only the apple logo. Will not reboot.

Both my ipad and iphone at the same time booted to the apple logo. I can do a hard reset and get to my home screen but as soon as I enter my security code on either device the apple logo returns. Any ideas?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2.1
