Can't decrease the gutter spacing for columns of text. Equal column width box unchecked, double-clicked to change value, numbers won't stick.

Hi there - I am having the same issue with OS X 10.11.3 and Pages 5.6.1.

I have Pages v5.6.1 on OS X 10.11.3. I can change (direct input) the gutter width downward with equal columns set, and without equal columns set, I can change the gutter size downward to point, and further if I reduce my Left and Right margins to 0.75 in from 1.0 inch, in the Document panel.
