both my wife and I are getting the texts that we send each other. I send her a text and it shows up on both of our phones.
WWhen I send my wife a text it shows up on her phone and mine. How do I turn this off.

stop using the same appleID if you want to the same apps do so with family sharing
otherwise you need to go into settings->messages and disable iMessages on both devices but that will disable iMessages of cause
