my iphone would show the charge sign but wouldnt turn on and if it did it would be for a few minutes for about a week and then when i plugged it in atfer not charging it for a while it gave me electric shocks and it now wont charge or turn on. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if anyone has any solutions or ideas on how to get it working

I am not sure that I totally understand what you mean about the electric shock, but .... If you are getting shocked by the device whether charging or not, I would take the phone and the charger to an Apple Store and ask them to look at both the phone and the charger.
the actual phone was giving off a sharp shock when I plugged it in and thanks for your response ill take it in on the weekend just thought to check if I could fix it myself thanks
does anyone know how much it would cost to get it fixed thanks
