Try holding Option while you launch iTunes; create a new library. Does iTunes open now?
If it does, your original library is corrupted. If it doesn't open, reinstall iTunes.
It could be a corrupt library instead of iTunes itself. If you still have the issue, download the latest version of iTunes from Apple.
