Feb 12, 2016 4:32 PM in response to experimental jet setby Alchroma,Might be worth swapping the NEW cable for another that is known to capture.
Some brands of firewire cable do not work for capturing.
Do you know the brand name?

Feb 15, 2016 12:43 AM in response to experimental jet setby Alchroma,No special suggestion, but in the past a brand called Rockfish had a pattern of not capturing.
The only way is to test the cable with other equipment that is known to work.
