itunes could not sync contacts and calendar

I am unable to sync my iPhone 6 to iTunes because the error message of iTunes could not sync calendars/contacts to the iPhone because the sync server failed to sync the iPhone keeps coming up.

I currently and running Windows 10 and cannot find a resolution. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
