ipad mini 3 stuck in boot loop

helllo, my ipad mini 3 is stuck in a boot loop due to a bug in iOS that appears to affect all 64-bit ios devices running ios 8 or higher (I already reported the bug). Reseting and even restoring from itunes does not fix the issue. I heard that the only way to get it fixed is to get a repair or replacement device from apple. My question is, will my iPad's warranty cover the repair/replacement? It's an iPad Mini 3 running iOS 9.2.1 Thanks
