Quicktime player won't work

I updated my apple software to the latest version on my macbook pro, why won't quicktime play my video?

Without knowing what kind of movies you are trying to play or which QT Player app/structure you are trying to use, it is impossible to say if your problem is normal or what alternative solutions might be available.
