HI @Hasn,

I understand you'd like to know how you can see calendar events in the default Reminder's app. Unfortunately, their isn't an option to do that from the reminders app. If you swipe down from the top of your screen to open notification center, you might see a calendar widget which shows you upcoming events. If you don't see the calendar widget, follow these steps to enable it:

Adding the Calendar Widget to Notification Center

  • Swipe down from the top of your iOS device.
  • Select the "Today" tab.
  • Scroll down and select, "Edit"
  • Under DO NOT INCLUDE tab on the "+" symbol next to Calendar
    • If you'd like, you can rearrange the order or location of the widget.
  • When you're finished, tap "Done"

I hope this helps,

John

Hi @Hasn,

I'm very happy to help you out! Just to clarify, in the Reminders app you're seeing three different tabs, or lists like Scheduled, Reminders, and Calendar. You also mentioned that when you add an event in the "Main Calendar app with (the) reminder (app)" that the event should be updated in the Calendar list.

If I'm right, you'd like to know why your events in your calendar app aren't being sent to your reminders app, so you can get reminded.

If that's true, then I think it might help to clarify that the Calendar app and the Reminder app are two different apps. The Calendar app is great for things like keeping track of appointments. The Reminders app is great for things like to do lists. You can't really use the main calendar app to send events to the reminder app, unless you physically enter the events or the things you need to do on both apps, if that's what you were implying. This might help to explain why you may not be seeing your events in your calendar app being sent to your reminders app.

Even though I said the Calendar App is mainly designed for the purposes of things like helping you to keep track of appointments, if you prefer to get reminded about appointments you can enable alerts within the calendar app. You could use the reminders app too, and whichever one you prefer is completely fine.

I hope this helps to answer your question,

John
