Iphone from Chinese Apple Store network compatibility

I'm in China for six month and I'm thinking about buying an Iphone 6s there. However, I want to be really sure that it'll be compatible with my phone network back in my home country (France). In an apple store they told me that it was ok but according to that webpage : http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ it isn't true. (the only model of Iphone 6s available in China right now is the A1700).

Does anyone have an aswer ?
