Can't move files from my Android to my MacBook Pro

I've been trying to move files from my Android to my MacBook Pro using every method, and none of them worked.

Android File Transfer - I can move files from my Mac to my Phone but can't move files from the phone to my Mac! I get the following error:

Smart switch - transfer empty 0kb files when I drop the file from the phone to my Mac

Bluetooth - when trying to browse I get "the device does not have necessary services" error when trying to connect to the device from my Mac.

Any help? 😟
