iPhone 5c battery draining fast and dying at high percentages

okay so a few days ago my iPhone 5c has been dying way before the battery is dead ( at like 30-60%) and also battery drains fast. I am on ios 9.1.2 not sure if it's a bug since i've had that update for a while and this problem only started happening to me a few days ago. I bought my phone off ebay last year and it is refurbished.
