I have the problem that my HomeKit invitation for my girlfriend never makes it to her iPhone 5 (iOS 9.2.1). Anyone else encountered that? (Yes, I use here email address which is connected to her iPhone). Family iCloud sharing works fine.
I canceled and renewed the invitation several times but she never seems to get the invitation on her device... We are (of cause) both win the same WiFi network.

I read another thread that had a solution that worked for me, I was using the @me.com address for the invitee and needed to use the @icloud.com version. Then it worked. so it would be guest@icloud.com which you may have to manually type in if it isn't in your address book.
