how to fix a permanent bricked ipad

So i did this thing were you set the time and date to January 1st 1970 and i didn't know it would brick my ipad. I tried to factory reset it and its not working. It keeps saying that my ipad timed out after it extracts the software and tries to download the new update to factory reset it. Now it wont go past the turning on screen and it has a bar at the bottom of the symbol that isn't loading anything. I don't have money to replace it. And i need it for school.
