youtube.com/activate and 'subscribe' ?

I am trying to getting a "subscription" on a new, "Apple TV (4)", "YouTube" APP to work. I keep getting a message:

My goal is to watch "Real Time with Bill Mahr" as a single view, not the scattered bits I'm finding. The major problem is I am not seeing a date stamp so I have to sample pretty much every likely segment, typically a little over 6 minutes.

My current hypothesis is the 'YouTube' APP for Apple TV is badly broken. The reason is 'Apple TV' is not a 'phone, tablet, or computer.'
