Q: Dead iPod...

Hello, I have an iPod 5 and it died.  But thats not the problem, the problem is it won't "wake up".  I plugged it into my portable charger and it came up with the top of the charger and an up arrow and the iTunes icon.  So I plugged it in to our iMac and it still says that.  I t has been doing that for the last 24 hours at least.  WE have the latest version of iTunes, and we even plugged it into a PC, also we have done everything on the apple help page. Help!

iPod touch, iOS 9.2.1

    See what you missed here:

    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

    - Try another cable

    - Try on another computer

    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
