i just bought an Iphone6s Plus and am surprised that i cannot make drawings in the notations app.
on my iPad2 air, i can see the symbol for making a drawing, but not on my iphone.

In a note, tap the + in the lower right corner of the note window. That will bring up more options, including font, camera, and drawing. Tap the squiggly line and it will give you choices at the bottom for pencil, marker, etc. You can draw with your finger.

second, sorry but i don't see a + in the lower right corner of the note window, the only symbol is a square with a pencil and this starts a new note.
i have the latest iOS 9.1.2

Did you actually upgrade the notes on the phone to support that? You'll see the + once you're actually in a note.
