What app do I need to set up airprint on my iPad? The Epson printer is airprint capable according to their litterature.

Actually I have both iMac and iPad and want them, both to be able to access my Epson Workforce 645 - figured I'd start with the iPad...
You don't need an app, AirPrint is built-in and should work for any compatible printers

You don't need any app. If your printer is AirPrint compatible and is connected to the same wifi network as your iPad, then you simple select the "print" option form any apps menu bar (the square with an upwards arrow in it at the upper right).

The on screen response I get is "no airprint printers found"....The printer is on, am sitting a foot away from it, and to my knowledge both are on the same WiFi network.
You've checked the 'If you can't print to your AirPrint printer' section on that link ?
Have not received that response. After clicking the "arrow" the display goes to "Printer Options" with a "Select Printer" after which I get a "No airprint printers found"...
That section also applies to 'No AirPrint Printers Found'
Thanks for your help....I suspect that something is wrong with the Epson printer...As far as I know I've updated all the software per Epson's recommendations, I know that both the iMac and Ipad are up to date.

Have you tried with your Mac, does that see the printer ?
Just did that, and it too does not see the printer. Guess I'll see what Epson says. Thanks again!
