Q: Fairwinds bank Apple Pay help!

So I tried to add my Fairwinds Credit Union debit card to Apple Pay. It then said it needed further verification and gave me a number to called. I called the number and then got an email from Fairwinds saying that my card had just finished veryfying and is ready to use for Apple Pay. But when I go to my wallet it says that it still has the same verification number and won't let me use that card. I have already added a card and it worked fine. I am using an iPhone 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.2.1

    Hi

     

    As your card issuer advises that your card is ready for use, try closing the Wallet app and then restarting your iPhone.

     

    - To close the Wallet app (and Settings, if it is also open): double-press on the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview.

    Thank you for your reply, unfortunately it didnt work, I tried deleting the card and doing it again. I got a confirmation email saying it has been successfully activated and ready to use but I go to the app and it says it still needs confirmation

    You're welcome.

     

    Given the steps that you have tried, contact your card issuer - perhaps ask to speak directly with their Apple Pay verification team.
