Setting up iPad mini

HI all

ive just got an iPad mini 4. Now my MacBook Pro has broke.

IS it possible to set the iPad up with a keyboard and monitor and use this in place of a new Mac?

i Only use internet, mail and word.

Howdy Markb,

It sounds like you want to use your iPad with a monitor and a keyboard in lieu of a full Mac computer. You will need some sort of video adapter, and which one would depend on what connection options your monitor has:

Lightning to VGA Adapter

or

Lightning Digital AV Adapter

Correct, just keep in mind that you will still have to tap the screen on the iPad to navigate and use the apps you want since there is no mouse support on iOS.
