Missing invitee
I have an iPhone 5 with IOS 9.2.1. I have lost the Invitee function in the calendar app. Any suggestions. I am connected to iCloud.

Check and turn on Calendar setting in iCloud: in iOS 11 > Settings > Apple ID, iCloud... > iCloud > Calendar (turn on; select: merge [my recommendation]). I had mine off when I attempted to reduce iCloud backup space (which did not help me) and then I forgot to turn on Calendar after testing backup space. One reply below says to turn on Contacts. This did not resolve my issue. I had to turn on Calendar.

Are you trying to use that function on an existing or new invite?
And can you post a picture of the screen when you hit the plus sign in the right upper corner?
Sorry -- can't post a picture. It's on new invites.
The screen reads as follows:-
All Day
Starts
Ends
Repeat
----------
Calendar
----------
Alert
Show as
Private
Sorry -- I'm technically challenged!!
Agreed, there are no travel time and no invitees on my screen.
Tried chosing another calendar, and it's no dofferent.
Tty to restart your phone
Hold off/on and home buttons down together until you see and then allow normal boot up
Check to see if your issue resolves at that point
Hi,
Shutting down as you described made no difference, I'm afraid.

Ok here is what you can try for next steps
Back up your phone to iTunes
Then restore as a new phone
See if the calendar works as intended
If Yes - then restore your back up
Please ask if you need help with any of the steps
You will need at least two to three hours to accomplish this with iTunes
I had this problem as well.
I checked my settings and found that the iCloud and contacts settings were turned off, so I turned them back on, and VOILA! I can now add invitees.
Hope this helps you!
Jen
seriously, you need to have icloud turned on just to email a calendar invite? That's more big brother crap for those of us who don't want our information floating around. Thanks again apple
