windows could not retrieve information about the disks on this computer

I'm trying to install Win 10 on my 2014 MacBook Pro. The preparation goes fine, and it boots into the installer after the restart. However, when the installation starts I get the 'windows could not retrieve information about the disks on this computer' message.

Does anyone know why? I've tried remaking the USB a few times now, and still getting the same error. The ISO is the official one from Microsoft, so it couldn't be faulty.
