Hi, I recently upgraded to El Capitain after having my computer erased and restarted again. I noticed that I don't have my IPhoto anymore? How can I have it back? Tried to upgrade with app store but said tat It wasn't available in the canadian app store!!
Any thoughts?
What version did you have?
I have a blank but it was the version just before El Capitan
Mac OS X 10.10.3 and newer include Photos, which is intended as a replacement for iPhoto. If you'd like to go on using iPhoto in addition to or instead of switching to Photos, clickhereand try following the instructions; you'll only be able to do so if you previously got iPhoto from or associated it with the Mac App Store. The exact iPhoto version doesn’t matter.

I went to the app store, purchases and redowloaded the IPhoto app. I will try to upgrade from there.
Yes. Downloading iPhoto from the Mac App Store requires it to be associated with your Apple ID and that Spotlight isn’t able to locate a copy of it on your computer.

I know that Photos is the new App, and after upgrading I keep getting an annoying reminder in my App store update iPhoto. How do I get rid of that? I did it before but forgot and it popped up again after upgrading to El Capitan.

Delete the existing copy of iPhoto or update it, as you choose.
