swapping sim card from iPhone 4s to 6s

Have an iPhone 4s and an iPhone 6s. No longer need both, can i swap sim card from 4s to 6s?

No, the 6s needs a nano SIM card which is smaller than the one used in the 4s.

But your carrier can replace your SIM with the correct one.

Not directly, but you can cut it to the right nanoSIM size and it will work---there are specialized cutter tools for this. Any carrier shop will have them.
