Hi

Another user who recently had the same question reported that Weight Watchers advised them:

Also: the description for the Weight Watchers app does not mention sync support for Apple Watch. It also appears to advise that the iOS Health app sync feature has been temporarily removed:

"iOS 8+ users can connect with Apple’s Health app to sync your health and fitness data .. This feature is coming back soon along with others .. We apologize that a number of features were temporarily removed, but newer and better versions will be coming back soon"

From what I understand, WW will only pull in the steps that record on your phone. It doesn't look at watch only steps. for a while I was using it and would just add in the difference that my watch had beyond my phone, but it became kind of a pain so until WW fixes it where you can select it to pull from the watch steps (which is an entry in Apple Health), I just turned it off and I manually put in my watch steps. As far as I know it's never looked at anything beyond like cycling etc..via watch.

Their fitness FAQ does say they only pull phone steps from Apple Health. Some people have used Fitbit app as a workaround, middleman, but I didn't want to set that up too.
