how can i move my Windows7 iTunes music content to a Nas (Synolgy)

I would like to play my iTunes music content from a NAS (Synology) through their iTunes server and DS Audio app on eg. iPad.

When I copy/paste the music maps to the NAS most of the album covers/artwork are gone.

Finding the album pictures does not result in anything and adding an illustration manually is impossible

because the option "show info" is inactive. Files on the NAS seems read only?

Can anyone tell me how to put mu iTunes music content to my NAS??

Windows 7, Synology NAS 216play

Ideally you would ensure all artwork was embedded before you started. There are scripts for both Windows and Mac versions of iTunes to achieve this. iTunes isn't guaranteed to work nicely with NAS. Better if possible to keep the primary copy of the iTunes library on an external drive connected to your main computer, then clone this library to the NAS as both a backup and to act as a media server.
