I rented a movie and the sound cuts in and out, yet streaming from my iPad works fine

i rented a movie on Apple TV and the sound keeps cutting in and out. I checked my internet connection-all fine. Streaming from iPad works fine. Rented another movie thinking it was that download and same thing. Anything i can do to fix this?
