Changing the Amin. Code?

I have a 1.25 2004 eMac and it's minus the original start up disc's. it's currently at OS 10.4.11. I have the restore disc's 1-3 plus the Hardware test cd.

I need to change the Admin Code. If I buy an OS 10.4.? (3/4/5/6) from Amazon could I program it so it's mine and not the previous owners. I have a MacBook and I want to transfer my photo collect from the Book to the eMac, because the Book needs some word done on it. I have the internet on both of them.

MacBook, iOS 10.4.11

Are the Restore Discs 10.4.x?

Be careful what OSX Discs you buy, make certain they're/it is a Black Retail Version.

There is a hack to add a new admin that can then change the PW of other users, if it's not OSX Sever you have...

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.
