Internet connectivity issues on 2013 MBP w/ El Capitan

Hi there, not quire sure if the problem I am experiencing is related to my computer or my ISP.

My internet connection intermittently drops. Oddly, I can get it to work again by running Diagnostics. The ISP, Internet, and Server indicators show up as yellow, until I click continue and they turn green and my connectivity is restored. So, it's workable, but very annoying to constantly have my connection interrupted. Any ideas on what might be happening here?
