Where do I enter validation code on Apple TV.

I tried to watch something on Apple TV the other night and it said I needed to sign in to iTunes So entered my ID and password, and it said unable to sign in, please re enter your password and the verification code sent to one of your other devices.

Next thing i get is beeps from phone, iPad and the mac, all with different codes.

So i enter the password again, click submit, nowhere to enter the code and i get the same message again "unable to sign in, please re enter your password and the verification code sent to one of your other devices.”

More beeps on the phone pad and mac and 3 more different codes.

2 more attempts and i gave up. so i had 12 different verification codes and nowhere to put them.

please help!
