Error 53 & I-phone 6 with IOS 9.2.1 with repaired screen

I have been reading with horror about Error 53 problems. I recently had a new front screen fitted by a non Apple authorised repairer. Will this trigger the Error 53 problem. Touch ID still works fine as it did even with the broken screen. I keep my phone backed up in i-Cloud so if I encountered this problem can I reinstate my phone from a back up? Until this issue is resolved no more software updates for me. Can't take the chance. My nearest Apple Store is over an hour's drive away and for them to repair the screen involves sending the phone away and also costs a lot more so for me using them wasn't an option. I am fully backed
