ITunes says my IPod is synced, but my new music doesn't show up on my IPod

I have a Ipod touch of the 5th generation, and I have music stored on my PC and in playlists in ITunes library on my PC. When I connect my IPod to my PC and sync it, ITunes says everything went just fine, but when I look on my IPod, the new playlists aren't there. I have my IPod for quite some time now, and my music has always synced. I manually installed the images for my music, since I digitalized cd's so they weren't there naturally, and those are suddenly gone as well. Since the images deleted themselves on my IPod ( but ITunes still shows them when I click on 'info' for each number), I can't seem to sync my music. When I discovered this problem, I have tried multiple suggestions, but nothing works. My IPod has the last update (iOS 9.2.1), I have enough storage, and I have clicked the 'sync my music button'. Can anyone help me?

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
