Stop phishing scam

I have received a text message saying: 'Your Apple ID is due to be terminated. To prevent this please confirm your details here: http://gb-icloud.com - Apple.

I thought it was a scam but to check went to the website suggested and it looks exactly the same but if you click on any tabs, they don't work.

Please can you shut this one down apple?

Thanks

Els

If you "went to the website" in the text message, you have been phished.

True for any link in a questionable email or text. When in doubt do not click or respond in any way.

Even if they didn't get any personal info from you, they now know your device is valid for future harassing texts.

Apple would not communicate this kind of information via text message.

Log in directly to iTunes or App Store with your Apple ID. If there really was a problem you would not be able to log in; they would also not tell you you're "due to be terminated." Consider changing your password as well.

Unfortunately, Apple has no means to "shut this one [or any other] down"
