iPhone 5s - no recovery possible

After the upgrade to IOS 9, the iPhone5s does not want to start up anymore. It requires to be connected to iTunes to recover. We have been doing that for 3 to 4 times now. Final Result: iTunes says the phone cannot be recovered anymore - error 9. Can this phone still be repared?

You would have to take the phone to an Apple Store or an authorized service provider and ask them for help to know for sure if the phone can be restored. If you have exhausted all of the possibilities with security software, USB connections, tried another computer, then you have done all that you can do on your own.

Check your security software

Errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1611, 9006.

Sometimes security software can stop your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.

Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't blocking a connection to the Apple servers.

If you still see the error message, check for USB connection issues.
